Amber Whitton-Smith, NP - Nurse Practitioner

Amber Whitton-Smith, NP is a board-certified nurse practitioner as well as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).  She has over 12 years of experience in oncology.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Regis University and then earned her Master of Science degree at University of Colorado. 

Amber previously worked in bone marrow transplant and as an infusion nurse. She also worked as a nurse navigator within both oncology and radiation oncology settings. She has also participated in research protocols with a particular interest in symptom management, immunotherapy and evidence based practice. She is active in the promotion of certification and education of oncology nurses, serving on a national certification committee to design and develop certification exams.
