Laura Heffern, NP - Nurse Practitioner

Laura Heffern, MSN, FNP-BC, believes it is her job to balance each family’s unique values with the most up-to-date medical knowledge to offer a personalized approach to care. Using evidence-based treatment options, she can create a unique care plan to help her patients achieve their health goals. Laura provides care to the whole family and has a particular interest in treating acute illnesses and managing chronic conditions. 

Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University and completed her residency at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth Texas. She then went on to earn her Master of Science from the University of Colorado.

When not in the office, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors camping, skiing and hiking. She is also an advocate of supporting small local businesses. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her husband their golden retriever, Tucker.
