Courtney Ricks, LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Courtney Ricks, LCSW, believes that seeking and finding a counselor who feels competent and personable is incredibly important for mental health success. Courtney is eager to help patients navigate these challenging times and help them discover their best self and support them every step of the way.

Courtney received her bachelor and master degrees in Social Work from Baylor University. Courtney uses a variety of therapy models depending on the specific needs of her clients. These include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Courtney is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Basic Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Courtney works to address a variety of emotional, mental, and physical stressors such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, emotional dysregulation, addictions, and more.

When not in the clinic, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants and shops while also enjoying the beautiful landscape of Colorado. However, her favorite thing to do is to snuggle with her dogs.
