Alejandra Gutierrez, MD

Alejandra Gutierrez, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Gutierrez earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies. She completed her internship and residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. As a child, Dr. Gutierrez witnessed how the treatment and dedication of doctors helped a very sick relative. She vowed then to follow in their footsteps and make a profound difference in the lives of others. Patients say they like Dr. Gutierrez's fun-loving sense of humor, which puts them at ease. They also say they appreciate how she involves the m in decisions about their health care. In her spare time, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys music, hiking, paddle-boarding and spending time with her family. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Spanish.
