8 Hour Pre-Assignment
Introductory course required before applying for NYS Security Guard License
Exam given at end of course
Minimum 70% passing score required for eligibility to become licensed security guard

CERTIFICATE 1 DAY

16 Hour On-the-Job training
Must be taken within 90 days after security guard licensing
2- day class covering employer expectations, rules and regulations of work locations and responsibilities
Cost: $ 100


8 Hour Annual Renewal Courses
Required recertification coursework for all NYS licensed security guards
Can be taken anytime after receiving the license
Cost: $ 50
