Maria-Amelia Moreira Rodrigues, MD

Maria-Amelia Rodrigues, M.D., is a radiation oncologist at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. She received her medical degree from the University of Rio de Janeiro School of Medicine in Brazil and completed an internship in internal medicine at Hospital de Clinicas Gaffree Guinle, University of Rio de Janeiro, and the Kaiser Foundation Medical Center, San Francisco. She also completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of California – San Francisco, and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Instituto Nacional de Cancer in Rio de Janiero. In addition, she was visiting fellow in the department of hematology/oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Rodrigues is Board-certified in radiation oncology.
