Lijo J Jose, MD

Lijo Jose, M.D., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Jose specializes in primary care services for patients of all ages.

Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2021, Dr. Jose completed his family medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. During his residency, he served as the resident team leader of the COVID-19 Emergency Overflow Response Team, a member of the Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Selection Committee, and a member of the Committee of Interns and Residents.

He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Jose believes in building long-term relationships with his patients and serving as a gateway for them to lead healthier lives. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Jose enjoys traveling, hiking, basketball and spending time with family and friends.
