Russell Traister, MD, PhD

Russell Traister, MD, PhD is a pediatric allergy/immunology specialist at AHN Pediatric Institute. He specializes in the treatment of allergies, asthma, and vocal cord dysfunction. He also provides rush immunotherapy to quickly desensitize patients to harmful allergens.

Dr. Traister earned his medical degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed a residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and completed his fellowship, within the same health system, at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Traister is a published author of numerous articles and papers, has presented several research abstracts, and has given presentations around the country. Additionally, he is an assistant professor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Traister is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Allergy and Immunology.
