I am an anesthesiologist specializing in regional and orthopedic anesthesia as well as the management of acute and chronic pain. Through the use of peripheral nerve blocks, patients are able to have surgical procedures with less pain, require fewer opioids, and subsequently have fewer opioid-related complications. My research revolves around the role of regional anesthesia for enhanced recovery pathways. Additionally, investigating the utility of telehealth for acute pain management follow up for in- and outpatient follow up as well as its role in opioid reduction.
