Lyndon Luk, MD

Dr. Lyndon Luk is currently an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a subspecialty in abdominal/body radiology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in neural sciences from New York University and received his MD from Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School in 2012. He completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at the Columbia University Department of Radiology, where he served as chief resident. After graduating, he completed a one year fellowship in body MRI imaging at New York University Langone Hospital before returning to Columbia in 2018.
Dr. Luk's research interests span a number of subjects, including liver transplant and pancreas imaging, advanced MR imaging techniques of the prostate, radiomics and machine learning/artificial intelligence. His daily focus on clinical service is to provide patients and clinicians at NYPH with the highest quality of care. In part because of his experience at Columbia Radiology as a trainee, Dr. Luk believes strongly in the value of effective mentorship and spends a great deal of time teaching and educating radiology residents and fellows. He currently serves as the program director of the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship. Dr. Luk is an active member of the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Abdominal Imaging (SAR), Association of University Radiologists (AUR) and New York Roentgen Society (NYRS).
