Jodi P. Lerner, MD

Jodi Lerner, MD is a member of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her areas of clinical expertise include ultrasound-guided puncture procedures, sonographic evaluation of benign and malignant ovarian masses, early fetal evaluation, including identification of multiples, and of fetal and placental abnormalities, and obstetric amniocentesis. She has won a national recognition in gynecologic sonography and tristate recognition for obstetric sonography.
In addition to board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, she has completed post-residency training in obstetrics and gynecologic ultrasound. As the previous director of the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at Columbia, she uses her teaching and management skills effectively in interactions with colleagues and patients. Dr. Lerner has authored many publications, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. She is frequently invited to speak at national and international scientific meetings.
