Lara Kobrin, MD

I knew I wanted to be a family physician while learning to care for pediatric patients during my third year of medical school at Temple University. I loved performing well child visits but felt frustrated that I could not address the health needs of my patients’ parents too. Fortunately, I was accepted into Lancaster General Hospital’s residency program where I spent three rigorous years learning to provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Providing full spectrum care to my patients at Family Medicine Abbeyville is a joy. My special interests include pediatrics, contraception and reproductive health services, comprehensive care for the LGBTQ community including gender affirming care for transgender patients, and medication-assisted treatment for individuals suffering from substance use disorders.
