Kadlec offers the region’s first Cardiac/Neuro Progressive Care Unit dedicated to caring for patients recovering from cardiac and neurological conditions including open heart surgery, heart attacks, vascular surgery, neurosurgery and neurological injuries.

Cardiac and neurological patients require special care. Our 28-bed unit allows patients to be cared for in a specialized area that focuses on their needs, rather than the generalized intensive care unit.
