Denis T Sconzo, MD

Denis T. Sconzo, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with 30 years of diverse experience providing care for women throughout all stages of adult life. He is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center and affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester, where he performs all hospital work. As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Sconzo provides routine gynecologic care, treatment of gynecologic conditions, and prenatal care and testing. He performs surgeries including minimally invasive and vaginal surgery, ultrasounds and onsite testing related to infertility and menopause. He also offers STD testing and treatment and family planning options. Dr. Sconzo is a graduate of Columbia University and completed medical school at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University’s Bellevue Hospital Center, where he was named administrative chief resident in his final year. He served in the United States Air Force in the Medical Corps as Captain and staff physician and clinic chief of OB/GYN Services at Hahn Air Base in Germany, and as a Major at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American Medical Association and Westchester Medical Society.
