Jonathan S Fainberg, MD

Jonathan Fainberg, MD, MPH, is a urologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an instructor in clinical urology at Weill Cornell Medicine. After earning his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Fainberg served his internship and resident at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Fainberg offers expert care in minimally invasive treatments for urologic cancers. His expertise lies in active surveillance and focal therapy for prostate cancer, management of small renal masses an both medical and surgical management of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). He prides himself on his bedside manner, attention to detail and putting the patient’s wishes first. Currently, he is completing additional training in Advanced Interventional Urology in order to offer his patients a wider array of minimally invasive, safe and effective treatment options.
