Eli E. Hendel, MD, is a triple board-certified pulmonologist, sleep medicine specialist, and internist, offering care at his private practice in Glendale, California. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Hendel is the go-to provider for patients with sleep apnea, asthma, COPD, insomnia, and a range of other health concerns. 
Dr. Hendel’s career started with his training in internal medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He later completed fellowship training in pulmonary medicine at the University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. 
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Hendel was the chief of medicine at Dignity Health-Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center in Glendale, California. He is also associated with Glendale Adventist Medical Center. 
At his own private practice, Dr. Hendel proudly uses the latest tests and services in his specialties to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients. He offers pulmonary function testing, spirometry, home sleep testing, and occupational lung disease evaluations, as well as worker’s compensation evaluations as a qualified medical examiner (QME). He specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) management for obstructive sleep apnea.
