ArtJam is a generative art collaboration between a real-world artist and his programmer son.

Our artist-in-residence and founder, Alvin Koay, brings his love for art, technology, commerce, marketing, entrepreneurship and community into the project.

Being an artist who has been painting for more than a decade, Alvin began working with his teenage son, Nicholas, in mid-2021, to capture all his personal art styles into codes and algorithms

Every artist has his own unique and personal art styles and it is Alvin’s vision to encapsulate his creations into computer algorithms. It started becoming a reality when Nicholas started to mature into a brilliant programmer. Coincidentally, this was at the same time generative art was on its break of a break-out movement.
