Emily Harvan - CLOSED

Emily Harvan, DPT is a member of Summit Health's Physical Therapy team. Dr. Harvan treats patients experiencing pelvic floor conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, and pelvic floor weakness. In addition, she has had experience treating patients with various neurological diagnoses and is certified in LSVT BIG, a treatment protocol for patients with Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Harvan believes in caring for the whole person and conducting treatment with a patient’s unique needs in mind. She takes pride in delivering compassionate care that recognizes challenges while encouraging advancement toward goals and increased strength. “I love helping my patients get back to doing what they love or have the freedom to try new things, in light of a reduction in their symptoms,” she says.

In her free time, Dr. Harvan enjoys reading, spinning and yoga classes, and going on adventures with her dogs. She is passionate about mental health awareness and animal welfare; for the latter she volunteers with rescue organizations, including fostering large-breed dogs.
