Death will come for all of us. It’s an unavoidable part of human existence. We can fear it. We can deny it. We can avoid talking about it. Or, we can embrace it and make it our own as much as our limited knowledge will allow. One definition of “coaching” is to “help a person change in the ways they wish and help them go in the direction they want to go.” That is the goal of Metta Death Coaching. We work to create a personal end-of-life plan for a desired end of life. Without a plan, based on our personal beliefs, values, and priorities, we could be left to allow outside forces to determine what our end of life might look like.
