Elizabeth M. Belson, MD

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Belson attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa for her undergraduate studies. She graduated from Drake with both a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Most recently, Dr. Belson was awarded a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Belson’s clinical interests include preventive medicine and management of chronic conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes. She is passionate about population health and improving healthcare to deliver the best care to patients.“I strive to be a great teammate for each individual patient. Helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals makes practicing family medicine such a joy.”When not seeing patients, Dr. Belson enjoys traveling, running, playing tennis and spending time with her family and friends.
