Alexandra Moench, DNP, FNP-BC - Schweiger Dermatology Group

Alexandra Moench is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who completed rigorous training in the fellowship program at Schweiger Dermatology Group to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Furman University, graduating Cum Laude, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University where she was recognized as a nursing scholar. She went on to receive a Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University. Through her graduate studies, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau honor society for academic excellence.

Dr. Moench’s interest in dermatology began when she worked as a RN in the Dermatology Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She focused her doctoral research at Columbia University on exploring the role of and training for family practice NPs and PAs to provide dermatology care.
