Portland Innovative Senior Living is dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents with compassionate care. We personally direct the care of our residents with the philosophy that wellbeing encompasses physical health as well as emotional, social, and spiritual health. We fully integrate this holistic approach in our care philosophy. Amanda Shields, owner of Portland Innovative Senior Living, has been a nurse practitioner in the field of geriatrics and internal medicine for over 20 years. Her experience has given her a unique insight into the many challenges we go through as we grow older. She has had the opportunity to provide primary medical care in a variety of facilities from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, memory care units to adult care homes. This has shown Amanda just how the environment in which our seniors live has an huge impact on their health, happiness and overall well being.
