Reflections Midwifery: Angela Gilmer, CNM

Angela Gilmer, CNM, is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Reflections Midwifery located in Loveland, Colorado. With nearly 20 years of experience and 12 years as a Labor and Delivery RN, Angela is both knowledgeable and passionate about the level of care she provides. 
Angela graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2013 and she became a Certified Nurse Midwife. The second half of her career has been focused on practicing as a CNM and providing women’s health care, midwife care, and birth control services. With experience in birthing in hospital and out of hospital, Angela has delivered over 500 babies.
She believes that pregnancy and birth are normal life events; the less medical intervention, the better. After reflecting on her many years of experience in women’s health care, she came to the conclusion, that there is a better way to protect a person’s birth space. 
Angela believes that families should have choices, such as the choice to have a home birth in the comfort of their own home or safe space with a CNM.
Angela is a Colorado native. She is married and she has five kids. She is passionate about empowering women through education and evidence-based joint decision-making.
