Steven Lawrence Smith, MD

Steven Smith, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from Creighton University Medical Center in Nebraska. He completed his internship and his residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Smith aims to put his patients first and practices evidence-based and individualized care so that each patient can lead a happy and healthy life. Dr. Smith strongly believes in seeing the patient-doctor relationship as a partnership. His goal is to educate the patient to help them meet their health goals together. Dr. Smith makes sure he offers patients all the tools they need to make informed and smart decisions about their care. A few of Dr. Smith's clinical interests include diabetes, geriatric care, and heart health. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Smith loves to spend time outdoors and with family. He enjoys hiking, biking and maintains a garden. He's an avid reader and a guitar player.
