Kari L. Waddell, NP

Kari has a degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and a nursing degree from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She obtained her master's degree in family nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then moved from Los Angeles to Denver where she met her husband. Kari is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has a special interest and expertise in pediatrics, lactation consulting, supporting new parents, women’s health, preventive care, nutrition and travel medicine.“I am committed to providing compassionate, thoughtful, individualized and equitable care to all my patients. I love my job and look forward to meeting you.”When not working, Kari enjoys running, hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. She is passionate about traveling the world and learning about other cultures. She has volunteered as a nurse practitioner treating both adults and children in Uganda, Vietnam, India and the Dominican Republic.
