Dekrisha Lew, MD

Born in West Virginia, Dr. Lew’s childhood years spanned both U.S. coasts, Poland and Canada before her family landed in Texas. Dr. Lew received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency from Geisinger Medical Center.

Dr. Lew loved the idea of being a pediatrician working with kids and their families and watching them grow up. However, she did not want to watch her patients age out of her practice. She found dual Internal Medicine-Pediatrics certification allows her to treat entire families, be profoundly more effective, and maintain lifelong relationships with her patients.

“I think of myself as an ‘internist for kids’ and a ‘pediatrician for adults.’ I have a unique perspective of all age groups because of my dual training.”

When she is not at her office, Dr. Lew loves to hike with her husband and their rescue dog, read, bake, watch Disney movies and make jewelry.
