Shaheena Anene, MS, MD

Dr. Anene is joining the Department of Pediatrics at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport after finishing her residency training here in Shreveport in 2021. She completed her undergraduate degree in West Texas at Angelo State University and her Master of Medical Science at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She attended the American University of the Caribbean for medical school, where she was able to complete her clinical clerkships at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, New York. She is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in our general pediatrics clinic, where she is able to pursue her interests in preventative medicine as well as caring for the medically complex child.
