Gregory Lavins, MD

I pursued a career in medicine out of a fascination with the interplay between human physiology and the environment around us. I continue to pursue it because there is no greater pleasure than helping a patient understand and take control of their health. I believe that every individual has their own unique definition of health, and it is my passion in medicine to help patients find and achieve it. Whether it's by harnessing the latest advancements in science and technology, through exploration of mindfulness and the mind-body connection, or simply through the power of a trusting relationship between patient and provider, I strive to meet each of my patients' unique needs on their journey towards health. I enjoy the full spectrum of primary care but have a special interest in wound care, mental health and gender-affirming care. Outside of medicine, you can find me gardening, hiking, reading a good book or playing folk guitar.
