John Bushaw, OD

John Bushaw, OD, attended Grand Valley State University, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science. He went on to achieve his doctorate degree from Indiana University School of Optometry, where he graduated in May 2018. Prior to joining Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery, Dr. Bushaw completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Surgical Co-management at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA and Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in Walla Walla and Kennewick, Washington. Dr. Bushaw specializes in diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye syndrome, cataracts, macular degeneration and more. He is well trained in contact lens fitting, with soft disposable lenses and rigid scleral lenses.
