Amy Schmetzer, DNP, FNP-C, is a pulmonary nurse practitioner and program manager for COPD Care Transformation at AHN. She specializes in outpatient pulmonary care, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, lung cancer screenings, asthma, COVID-19 ICU coverage, as well as other pulmonary diseases and critical care.

She received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing and her PhD in Nursing Practice/Family Practice from Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.

Amy is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She provides a patient-centered approach to care, reviewing concerns and providing research-based recommendations tailored to individual patient needs. She sees patients ages 18 and older at Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion.
