Daniel Walter Skufca, MD

Dr. Dan Skufca graduated from Emory University with a BS in economics. He then attended University of Kentucky College of Medicine where he graduated with Distinction. He completed an intern year of internal medicine and then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health. There he was selected as the chief resident in his final year of training. After residency, he joined Sentinel Health Partners in Camden, SC where he has practiced since 2008. With MUSC’s expansion into the Midlands area, Dr. Skufca’s practice was acquired by MUSC. He focuses on comprehensive adult ophthalmology and enjoys performing cataract surgery.
