Acumen Clinical Services provides primary care, non-trauma urgent care and rehabilitation services, servicing Geriatric, Pediatric and Adults. Our clinic is located in Umatilla, FL but we serve many rural areas surrounding us as well as Eustis / Tavares / Mt Dora / Leesburg / Lady Lake / and The Villages. On-site medical personnel include medical doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and aids / techs. On-site rehabilitation personnel include doctors of physical, occupational therapy and speech language pathology, along with their aids. Medical and rehab support services include x-ray, diagnostic ultrasound EMG, wound management, pain management, balance training / fall prevention, oxygen therapy / hyperbaric chamber treatment, routine physicals including PPD, fit for duty / return to work assessment, selective on-site lab work, counseling and orthotics. We also have a wide offering of programs: homeopathic guidance, dietitian / nutrition counseling, weight loss program, incontinence / sexual disfunction, cognitive retraining, swallowing retraining / diet modification, speech impairment retraining and community retraining (ergonomics, IABL, sport activities {balance and specialty equipment}). We are open from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm M-F with extended hours to better serve the community. Walk-ins are welcome: no referral need for Physical Therapy services. Weekend service hours coming soon. We accept all types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid; VA; Workmans Comp; Managed Care; Auto Insurance and Private Pay.
