Dr. Espindola began his professional pursuits at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. There, he earned his medical degree in surgery and traumatology.
Following graduation, Dr. Espindola moved to Lecco, Italy, and completed postgraduate training in the Ilizarov Technique — a treatment method that corrects abnormalities in the lower extremities.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Espindola has specialized in minimally invasive surgery of the foot and ankle. He performs all surgical procedures in the office without the need for blood work or general anesthesia.
