Melissa Rienstra, MD

Melissa Rienstra, M.D., earned her medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in internal medicine at Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Rienstra specializes in internal medicine. She offers comprehensive preventive care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease and arthritis. Her special interests include preventative care and women's health. In her spare time, Dr. Rienstra enjoys running, riding bikes and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Rienstra is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
