Yan Chen, DO

Yan Yu Chen, DO, earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine - Georgia Campus and completed her residency at NYCHHC Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn NY. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Bellarmine University. Dr. Chen has been practicing medicine for four years. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Chen was Chief Resident of OBGYN service at Coney Island Hospital during the COVID 19 pandemic. Dr. Chen specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Chen has a variety of interests including high risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgery, treating abnormal uterine bleeding, and providing services related to pelvic infections and contraceptive planning. In her spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with her family, trying new cuisines, and long distance running. Dr. Chen is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
