Joseph Pober, M.D., F.A.C.S.

 
Joseph Pober, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained and double board-certified plastic surgeon performing luxury surgeries and procedures at his private practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. He uses the latest cosmetic surgery techniques and some noninvasive options to artfully smooth, tuck, or remove the features that indicate a patient’s increasing age. 
Dr. Pober earned his medical degree in 1979 from the esteemed Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed residency training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City through Columbia University and Cornell University. 
Dr. Pober holds affiliations with several hospitals in the area, including New York-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center, and Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. He is the chief of plastic surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Dr. Pober excels in finding and highlighting patients’ most distinctive and attractive features using advanced cosmetic techniques, including some of his own methods. Through surgeries like facelifts, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty, as well as aesthetic procedures like soft tissue fillers, he redefines patients’ natural facial beauty. Dr. Pober also offers body contouring, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and liposculpting. 
Once a celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Pober now offers his high-end services to a diverse range of New Yorkers. Outside of his cosmetic work in private practice, Dr. Pober enjoys dedicating much of his time, skills, and finances to skin cancer, diabetes, and human trafficking charities. He also trains future plastic surgeons at various medical centers and institutions.
