Kirstin Hockhausen, M.D.

Kirstin (Huot) Hockhausen, M.D. is a native of Rapid City and a graduate of Stevens High School. She joined the dermatology team in Rapid City in 2021. Dr. Hockhausen chose to pursue medicine after her husband was diagnosed with leukemia and later found her passion in dermatology. Dr. Hockhausen joins her father, Samuel Huot (retired family medicine) and two brothers, Christopher (ophthalmology) and Michael (anesthesiology), in providing health care to the Black Hills region. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, books, theater and exploring the Black Hills with her husband and four children.
