Thomas Barrett, M.D.

Thomas Barrett, M.D., is a Family Medicine Physician at Monument Health Deadwood Hospital and Clinic. He grew up in a small community in Washington and following high school, attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he received an undergraduate degree in paramedicine and exercise science. He went on to earn his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed his Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of California - Davis Mercy Medical Center Merced, Dignity Health.

Dr. Barrett’s interests include providing hep C treatment, preventative care, and managing chronic disease with a focus on helping his patients achieve a healthy lifestyle, with diet and exercise. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, remodeling cars, adventure racing, community leadership and spending time with his wife and children.
