Andrew Grubic, DO

Dr. Grubic specializes in diseases of the esophagus and stomach, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus, difficulty swallowing, achalasia, gastroparesis, and esophageal and gastric cancers. He performs various types of surgery for these conditions, such as minimally invasive esophageal surgery.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship and residency programs at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship at the AHN Esophageal Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Grubic is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Grubic is a board-certified general surgeon, with subspecialty training and expertise in advanced laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
