Belger Arts Center

Since 2000, the Belger Arts Center has staged over 70 large-scale exhibitions and provided thousands of free, docent-led tours. Besides presenting some of the best in contemporary art, the Belger's ceramics teaching studio provides classes and workshops for the community at large. Belger Crane Yard Studios, a new satellite location in the east Crossroads/Jazz Districts, is quickly becoming a major arts destination in its own right. Besides housing to the legendary Lawrence Lithography Workshop, a ceramics supply shop, and Asheer Akram's metal studio, the 56,000 square foot complex provides studio space for over 60 ceramics artists and artists-in-residence. Be sure to add Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut) and Belger Crane Yard Studios (2011 Tracy Avenue) to your First Friday "must see" list or stop by during their regular hours 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday.
