Jean Carstensen, MD

Jean Carstensen is board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics. She obtained her BA from George Washington University in Washington, DC and earned her MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her residency in internal medicine and in pediatrics at Yale University-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.

Dr. Carstensen’s medical interests include primary care for the entire family, pediatrics, patient education, and adult medicine.

Dr. Carstensen is an American Academy of Pediatrics and an American College of Physicians fellow. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.

In her free time, Dr. Carstensen enjoys spending time with her kids, being on/by the lake, and reading.
