Michael W. Cheng, M.D., graduated from Emory University summa cum laude with highest honors and was elected to the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. After earning undergraduate degrees in biology and sociology, he attended medical school at the University of Florida. Dr. Cheng continued his medical studies with internal medicine residency at Emory University, and then furthered his education with sub-specialization in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cheng is board-certified in gastroenterology, and is a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Cheng specializes in gastroenterology and has over 15 years of experience. He strives to provide compassionate and comprehensive care of digestive health conditions including acid reflux, heartburn, colon cancer prevention, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disorders. During his spare time, Dr. Cheng enjoys playing tennis, fishing and spending time with his family. Dr. Cheng is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
