The Whaley Center

Owned and operated by Karese Whaley who Opened Once Upon A Child in 2008,Plato's Closet in 2011, and Clothes Mentor in 2013. We are ALL About Recycling. Our new building, "The Whaley Center", is located where the Dixie Pawn Shop had been for over 50 Years. Our new address is 4544 Yadkin Road in Fayetteville, NC and it will house all three stores! The stores will have brand new looks and Plato's Closet will gain 1K square feet in size. We are Community Sponsors for the following Organizations: Fayetteville Urban Ministries - ( "Operation Blessings" all three locations donate to them on a weekly basis), Cumberland County Heath Department (Maternity Clinic), Once Upon A Child Cumberland County Foster Family Program (Monthly Discount Cards). We are always looking for opportunities to give back to the local community as well! Karese has been a Junior League Member for over 15 Years volunteering in the community.
