First Command Financial Advisor - David Lee

David Lee joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in May 2021, following a 20-year career in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Major. David understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

David has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Auburn University and a Master’s degree in Ministry from Tennessee Temple University. He holds Series 7, 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Alabama & Georgia.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, David serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. David will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in his community, David is a member of Church of the Highlands where he leads small groups with his wife Rebekah.

In his free time, David enjoys listening to music, reading, and spending time with family.
