Allyson Kinsman, DPT, Physical Therapist

Ally Kinsman, DPT is a physical therapist at the UVM Medical Center. Among the top conditions she treats are concussion; multiple sclerosis (MS); musculoskeletal pain; neurological movement disorders, diseases and injuries; Parkinson’s disease; spinal cord injury; and stroke. She also performs a variety of specialized procedures, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), dry needling, LSVT Big and manual therapy. 

Dr. Kinsman feels that physical therapy is a rewarding career in which she is able to assist her clients in achieving their goals and maintaining their independence. She chose this field after personally experiencing the impact it had on her own life following multiple knee injuries. 

She believes that focusing on the entire body allows for a well-rounded approach and personalized care, which is essential when creating a treatment plan designed to restore function and mobility.
