Scarlett C. Johnson, MD, Pediatric Hospitalist

Scarlett Johnson, MD MPH, is a pediatric hospitalist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and CVPH. 

Dr. Johnson loves the inquisitive and playful nature of her patients as well as the meaningful relationships she develops with their families. She hopes to make patients and families feel comfortable and confident enough to engage in shared decision-making with their health care team. She views it as a privilege to be able to care for others in scary and stressful times of their lives, and is grateful to be able to do so. She finds that seeing a patient turn around after coming into the hospital is immensely rewarding. She loves working with children, as they are a constant reminder to appreciate the present moment, and getting to see healthy newborns in the nursery and thinking about the wonderful opportunities the future of each and every baby holds.
