Aashiki Shah

Aashiki Shah, DO is a member of Summit Health's Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine team. Dr. Shah provides preventive care and treatment for minor illnesses to patients up to age 18. She prioritizes making sure her patients and their families feel their concerns are heard and addressed, and that they feel well-equipped in managing their health.

Dr. Shah always enjoyed science and was drawn to pediatric medicine from a very young age. Through her work in preventive care, treatment, and education, she takes pride in watching her patients grow and thrive while empowering them to manage their own health.

Dr. Shah’s ambitions also include pursuing more cultural competence within the field of health care. While working on a research project during her residency, she discovered knowledge gaps and opportunities for providers serving culturally diverse patient populations and is interested in furthering work in this space.

In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and baking. She is passionate about nutrition, exercise, and raising awareness about social determinants of health.
