Dr. Edelman's desire to practice medicine stemmed from a desire to help people. While obtaining his PhD in cellular and molecular biology, he researched the molecular causes of cancer and gained confidence that it could be successfully treated. As director of medical oncology at USMD, he looks forward to helping develop a cancer program to serve the DFW community. In his free time, Dr. Edelman enjoys working out, music, learning new things, eating good food and playing golf.
