Cliff Bowers, DO, is the founder and a family medicine physician at Carolina Health DPC in Duncan, South Carolina.
Dr. Bowers founded Carolina Health DPC to bring time to care back to the patient-physician relationship. Carolina Health DPC thrives on the belief that "people do not care what you know until they know that you care."
Part crusader-part comedian, Dr. Bowers' peppery personality is tempered by his lovely wife, Laura. Together they share four adult children, two cats, Stella, the bossy Bernese Mountain Dog and Sadie, a black Labrador puppy. As Director of Pawsitivity, do not be surprised if Stella greets you enthusiastically at the clinic door or hails you from the back of "her" Jeep during a house call.
Dr. Bowers holds degrees from Wofford College, Emory University, and the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also brings knowledge gained as an Army Field Surgeon in a combat zone, a busy emergency medicine specialist, and the always available family doctor in a small rural town.
