I became an advanced practice provider with specialty in family practice to develop an ongoing partnership with patients, as well as their family members to achieve optimal health. I have a great interest in the diversity of care provided in primary care. I appreciated the opportunity to see older children, adults and elderly. I strongly support utilizing holistic healthcare while caring for my patients. As I care for my patients, I try to incorporate their physical and psychosocial elements that pertain to their healthcare to ultimately reach their healthcare goals. I place great emphasis on patient education and empowering patients to become informed to make the best decisions for their health care. I strive every day to provide emphatic care for patients and their families. When I am not working, I enjoy reading and going to the mountains and outer banks of North Carolina. I also enjoy watching NFL and college football games and going to ECU and UNC college games every season. I enjoy going to local events in Raleigh and Wake Forest with my husband and son.
